Grow operations can accommodate plants of medium height and are easier to manage inside and gendering will not be a problem because of its feminized attributes; Outdoor cultivation necessitates constant 75°F temperatures that are both warm and humid. To maximize this strain’s purple potential, growers should expose plants to cooler temperatures prior to flowering. This will encourage the production of the aforementioned anthocyanin pigments. Gelato blooms within 8 to 9 weeks when planted indoors, and when grown outdoors, it is ready for harvest in the middle of October.

How to Grow Gelato Strain

Gelato is one of the best marijuana strain I’ve ever smoke so far! I have been searching for this strain quite some time, and it was all worth it. A well-balance hybrid and it taste minty and sweet at the same time. Though this strain has very high effect it can make me focus on my work. Absolutely amazing strain and would recommend this for any time of the day.

So last year I grew this strain outside on the West coast in BC. I started my plants in April inside, and this plant finally was ready in around the 2nd week of October. I had to bring it under cover at night and placed a fabric cover over it too, as at night the moisture in the air would create dew on the plant, so covering it with a wire cage around the plant did the trick.
I dried it for about 8 to 12 days…and cured it properly, burping jars and keeping a good humidity. This herb is so smooth and the people that I have shared it with…get pretty wrecked. It is quite cerebral at first and then you can settle in for a nice body effect.
